Oral history interview with Thomas P. Almy, 1994.

Almy was director of medicine at the Dartmouth Medical School beginning in 1968; sometime after 1973 he became a professor of medicine until his retirement in 1982. He discusses the history of the relationship between the Dartmouth Medical School and the Hitchcock Clinic at the time when the medical school was moving from a two-year to three-year to four-year curriculum. He talks about changes in teaching methods, curriculum, administrative practices, and governance and describes various programs he helped develop.
